Dr. Jayeti Newbold
SC2 Implementation Manager
Dr. Jayeti Newbold joins the CRED team as the SC2 Implementation Manager, reporting to Jorge Matos and will be based out of the Chicago office. In this role, Jayeti will be engaging and collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders to further the vision and goals of scaling community violence intervention (CVI) efforts for a safer Chicago. She will be managing the facilitation of scaling efforts in multiple neighborhoods in collaboration with community partners and key stakeholders and will support fiscal and evaluation partners to measure impact and outcomes. Prior to joining EC, Jayeti served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at READI Chicago where she was responsible for the strategic alignment of READI Chicago goals with those of the larger CVI community. She has recently completed her PhD and focused her dissertation on burnout among street outreach workers in the violence prevention space.
