William Brown, a Chicago CRED alum, is now part of the team at Pullman Tech Workshop. This program focuses on teaching individuals at risk valuable skills in restoring and rebuilding old houses. Thanks to the generous grant support from SE Johnson, William and others like him can empower their community through their newfound trade skills. Together, they are preserving Pullman’s historic row houses and fostering a sense of pride and ownership within the neighborhood. William’s dedication and hands-on learning are not only preserving the community’s heritage but also inspiring others to actively contribute to its preservation. His work ensures that Pullman’s rich history will be cherished and passed down to future generations.
