A Conversation with the Members of Chicago CRED

Arne Duncan, YPC life coach, Jervon Hicks, alumnus, Aaron Taylor and alumni coordinator, Billy Moore presented Breaking Cycles of Gun Violence: A Conversation with the Members of Chicago CRED during the Afternoon Conversation at the Aspen Ideas Festival on June 28. An audience of over 1,000 people gathered to listen and support the work that CRED and other organizations are doing to end gun violence in Chicago. Aaron Taylor spoke of his journey from carrying a gun starting at age 14 to graduating with his advanced certifications in MIG, TIG and Stick welding, an accomplishment applauded by the entire audience.
