Acasia Wilson Feinberg

Chief Philanthropy Officer

Acasia Wilson Feinberg joins CRED as the Chief Philanthropy Officer, reporting to Arne Duncan and will be based out of the Chicago office. In this role, Acasia will lead CRED’s fund development efforts across all lines of giving and work to foster a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the organization. She will build a fundraising department that will sustain and grow the organization’s $32M annual operating budget from a pool of national and local funding partners. Acasia brings nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit and philanthropic institutions, where she has primarily focused on education and educational equity. Prior to joining CRED, Acasia served as the founding Executive Director of The 1954 Project, a $100M fundraising and philanthropic effort to support Black leaders with unrestricted $1M grants. She has also worked on fundraising efforts in a variety of executive leadership roles. Acasia began her undergraduate career as an actor at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and trained as a classical vocalist at the University of Oregon.
